FIN 6040 - International Financial Management

Companies operating globally or in the global arena through supply chains, distribution or foreign investment are different from their domestic counterparts in part due to their exposure to foreign exchange fluctuations, political risks, etc. This course explores the characteristics of international financial markets and evaluates the associated risks and benefits involved in operating globally.The course also explores best practices and various business strategies for successfully launching and engaging in business activity outside the U.S. The course will examine all issues through two lenses: that of a multinational enterprise, and that of an individual investor.
