This course will analyze three interconnected components that form a critical part of the sport management field: the socio-political context within which sport resides, including the sport-society relationship and the ethical issues that continue to challenge the governance of sport; the consumption of sport involving participation, performance, spectating and the sport media relationship; and the management and leadership of sports organizations.
