Program Alterations

1. MA Clinical Counseling and MA Psychology Counseling: SSC E-Vote – November 24, 2025:

To change the name of the English counseling degree from “MA in Counseling” program to the “MA in Clinical Counseling” program.
To change the name of the Kepha counseling degree from “MA in Counseling” program to the “MA in Counseling Psychology” program.

*These name changes have a beginning date of 1/12/26 (2526 Spring Term)

2. MA Clinical Counseling: SSC Curriculog Vote - October 31, 2025

SSC approved the removal of the Undergraduate Psychology Prerequisite as an admission requirement for the program. In addition, the prerequisite was also removed from the associated CNS courses. These changes were in effect immediately and apply to both incoming and current students in the program.
