ENG 3410 - Shakespeare

Shakespeare is the most influential author in English literature. His plays continue to provide a living link to the past. In this survey you will read a selection (usually five or six) of his comedies, histories, and tragedies. You will also be introduced to a selection of his sonnets. The course is designed to help you appreciate the distinctive features of Shakespeare’s genius and reflect on how his themes relate to a biblical worldview. Prerequisite: ENG 1111.
