BUS 3310 - Intermediate Accounting and Reporting


Credits: 3

This course builds on the fundamentals of financial accounting in an introductory or principles of financial accounting course. Students will learn about the preparation and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting for complex business transactions, and techniques to evaluate and account for business performance. Topics include income statements, accounting for assets and liabilities, shareholder equity, cash flow statements, revenue recognition, and accounting changes. This course will incorporate case studies to evaluate corporate performance.
