From the Desk of the Dean…

Success! It’s a word we hear daily around the CIU School of Business and Professional Studies. Indeed, our graduates are achieving success leading, managing, and adding value each day to businesses, ministries, and sports entities around the world. Our faculty understands that students invest significant time and financial resources in their college education, and our goal is that each graduate achieve a return on that investment by walking off the graduation stage and into a rewarding and beneficial career. 

A mission of CIU’s School of Business and Professional Studies is to train and equip “Ministering Professionals” for a lifetime of significance impacting the marketplace with the message of Christ. Many of our students and graduates own their own businesses, are community leaders, manage domestic and international ministries, or are on the front-lines of the worldwide pandemic response. “Adding Value” is what we learn each day and what our graduates bring to the marketplace and the world. 

All programs in CIU’s School of Business and Professional Studies immerse students in the timeless principles and cutting-edge processes essential for success! Our students have opportunities to develop and explore entrepreneurship ideas and ideals, community business collaboration, practical and vocational business and leadership techniques, professional development opportunities, and obtain the resources to form their own business or ministry. Besides being trained to establish and lead organizations and ministries, our students are also equipped to pursue graduate education in such areas as public administration, accounting and finance, healthcare, international business, insurance and risk management, law, sport management, coaching, and organizational leadership.

Our students have a remarkable record of success! Whether your goal is to start and run your own business, engage in church or ministry leadership, or lead a domestic or international corporation or sports team, our programs will provide you the tools needed to succeed! Come grow with us!
