Intercultural Studies, BS

Overview

The Intercultural Studies (ICS) major prepares students to effectively serve in international and cross-cultural ministry, marketplace, or mission opportunities.

Objectives

The ICS major equips students to:

Articulate the meaning of the mission of God from Scripture and evaluate it from history.
Cultivate strategies for intercultural mission.
Demonstrate skill in understanding cultures and ministering across cultures.

Completion Requirements

See Undergraduate Core for graduation requirements.
Complete an approved short-term (minimum of six weeks) cross-cultural internship.
