Intercultural Studies, BS

Overview

The Intercultural Studies (ICS) major prepares students to effectively serve in international and cross-cultural ministry, marketplace, or mission opportunities.

Objectives

The ICS major equips students to:

  • Articulate the meaning of the mission of God from Scripture and evaluate it from history.
  • Cultivate strategies for intercultural mission.
  • Demonstrate skill in understanding cultures and ministering across cultures.

Completion Requirements

  • See Undergraduate Core  for graduation requirements.
  • Complete an approved short-term (minimum of six weeks) cross-cultural internship.
