Bible Certificate

Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of the Bible Certificate is to provide a basic course of study that will give students an opportunity to survey the entire Bible and to have a foundation in basic doctrine, principles for Christian life, ministry, and a biblical worldview. The program satisfies the requirement of one year of biblical studies for many mission agencies.
Certificate Requirements
- A minimum 24 total semester hours credit.
- A minimum 18 hours of Bible, theology, and a worldview development.
- A minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
- Satisfactory evidence of sound Christian character and doctrinal views. Students will not be accepted as candidates for a certificate if they deny any of the doctrines as stated in the Doctrinal Standard, if they affirm error in Scripture, or if they believe in the ultimate salvation of all people. (Exception: A candidate need not affirm the premillennial position expressed in section 8 of the Doctrinal Standard.)

Career Possibilities: Upon completion of this program, graduates will be ready to explore volunteer or entry-level employment opportunities for mission agencies, churches, youth ministries, para-church ministries and various service organizations. Possible Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes that represent these types of career opportunities include:

21-2011 Clergy
21-2021 Directors, Religious Activities and Education
21-2099 Religious Workers, All Other
Program Costs for the academic year 2021-2022:
Resident tuition and fees for 12-18 hours: $24,490
Books and supplies: $600
Room and board: $8,950 (based on a double room)
On-time completion rate and Median loan debt of graduates: Due to the small enrollment in this program and for the privacy of our students, we cannot disclose this information.
Job Placement rate: Not required by accrediting agency
