Purpose and Objectives
The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Business Administration provides online students a solid grounding in essential principles and practices in business. Many students continue their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, (BS) and ultimately a Master of Arts in Business Administration (MBA).
Objectives
Upon completing the AA program, each graduate will:
- Demonstrate basic proficiency in essential business skills
- Articulate and demonstrate a personal philosophy of business
- Understand and demonstrate a biblical-based Christian worldview that can be used in business settings
Completion Requirements
- A minimum 60 total semester hours of credit
- A minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA
- Completion of a minimum of 15 semester hours of CIU coursework
- Completion of a biblical studies core that includes 9 hours of Bible/theology/ministry courses and at least one additional interdisciplinary Bible-related course
- Completion of the 15 hour Business Administration concentration
