Sport Management, BS


Purpose and Objectives

The Sport Management major equips students to impact the nations with the message of Christ through the world of sport. Our Sport Management graduates are working in sport-related businesses and with professional sports teams worldwide, including coaching, training and development, marketing, team management, and venue management. 

The Sport Management major will equip you to achieve the following:

  • Articulate a personal biblically-based philosophy of sport management
  • Prepare for effective service and leadership in sport and sport management-related activities both in the United States as well as in cross-cultural contexts internationally
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of personal physical health and wellness and the importance of this lifestyle to the profession of Sport Management

Students in the Sport Management major will engage in an internship in a facet of American sport. Each student will have the opportunity to enhance their professional career goals, weaving together personal faith and their chosen career path into an opportunity to minister, live out and share the Gospel.
