Objective

Cybersecurity is one of the most concerning matters in our world today as cyber-attacks and threats become more common. To defend against these attacks and security breaches, organizations are willing to pay high salaries to cybersecurity experts so that the organization’s data can be protected and vulnerabilities removed. In turn, this has helped create a record number of job openings for information security professionals. The Master of Arts in Cybersecurity will prepare students for careers in the rapidly expanding field of cybersecurity and teach how to address threats to critical infrastructure.This program benefits from faculty in both computer science and criminal justice backgrounds to prepare students for jobs in government agencies and private industry around the world.

Admissions

The Cybersecurity master’s program requires students to have a GPA above 3.0 for their undergraduate degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. * Students with non-technical background would need to take the following bridge courses: 1) Fundamentals of Computer Science, 2) Principles of Operating Systems, and 3) Applied Computer Networks.
