In this second part of the survey, you will study how the major Romantic poets Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Shelley, Keats, and Byron—and Mary Shelley in Frankenstein— responded to Milton. You will gain insight into the ways “Romanticism” continues to influence Western culture and be encouraged to evaluate its ideals from a biblical worldview. Prerequisite: ENG 1111.
