HUM 3221 - Arts and Ideas

Credits: 3

This course provides an upper-level Humanities study of the historical progression of Western visual art from Giotto (late medieval) to Picasso (early 20th century).  The focus of the course is on helping you to “think Christianly” about how artists communicate philosophical and cultural worldviews through the media of visual art.  A series of focused Bible studies will encourage you to develop your own biblical theology of art.
