PHI 4813 - Philosophy of Religion Seminar Credits: 3
This is an advanced seminar in which students will engage in an in-depth study of the philosophy of religion. Philsophy of religion is a broad area that involves the application of philosophical analysis to a variety of religious topics. This course will focus on examining the relationship between faith and reason when forming beliefs about God, the meaningfulness of talk about God, and the conceptual clarity of various characterizations of divine attributes, such as simplicity, ominpotence, and omniscience.
