CSC 5150 - Scripting Languages Credits: 3
This course serves as an introduction to the scripting programming paradigm. It covers an array of scripting languages employed in Unix and Web-based applications, offering comparisons among them. Students will explore prevalent features found in frequently utilized scripting languages and will develop the ability to differentiate between these scripting languages and the more common system and application programming languages. As part of the course, students will attain a level of proficiency in programming using languages such as Python, Perl, JavaScript, and/or related languages.
Prerequisite(s): CSC 5010, CSC 5020, CSC 5030 Graduate
