BIO 3215 - Molecular and General Genetics

An exploration of molecular and Mendelian genetics. Emphasis is placed on heredity and phenotype; transcription, translation and replication; chromosome structure and maintenance. Hands on laboratory exercises include techniques to manipulate and analyze DNA as well as examine transmission genetics. Prerequisites: BIO 2120 and BIO 2121. Must accompany BIO 3216.
