Humanities provides a solid preparation for graduate and seminary studies, as well as careers in teaching, law, church ministries, and cross-cultural engagement.

The objectives of the Humanities program are to:
- Develop practice and skill in the art of reading, writing, critical thinking, and library research.
- Develop a foundational understanding of influential cultural currents of human thought and creative expression represented in literature, art, philosophy, history, and language.
- Encourage students to use the Christian Scriptures and theology as sources of integration for various fields of knowledge.
