The M.A. in Care and Counseling degree provides students with specialized knowledge and skills to address emotional and spiritual needs using biblical and counseling resources. It prepares students to teach, train, and counsel people in a variety of communities and cultures and to help people understand their situation from God’s perspective.
In addition to the mission statement and general objectives and requirements of a CBS degree, the objectives of the M.A. in Care and Counseling degree are to enable students to:
- Articulate biblical principles for spiritual and emotional health in multi-cultural settings.
- Develop a theology for using counseling skills in discipleship ministry.
