Certificate of Advanced Studies in Leadership (Korntal)

The Postgraduate Certificate in “Wisdom Leadership” provides students with selected advanced competences pertinent to senior leadership in churches, Christian organizations or educational institutions. As required course students take MIN 9431 Personal Spiritual Transformation. In addition, students select two 9000-level courses (EDU and MIN) that meet their specific areas of interest.

Courses completed as part of this certificate can be applied to the D.Min offered by CIU Korntal. 

Objectives:

• Identify and evaluate critical issues in leadership, especially in churches, Christian organizations or educational institutions
• Demonstrate Biblical and theologically informed assessment of leadership issues.
• Develop leadership strategies pertinent to senior leadership issues based on the concept of wisdom leadership.

Admission Requirements:

Master’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalence (requirements for studies at doctoral level). Three years of leadership experience. Transfer credits are not accepted for this certificate.

Completion Requirements:

Completion of all courses with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Time Limitation:

The certificate must be completed within two years of first term.
